Environment Awareness Programme

       An Environment Awareness programme was organised by the Social Action Committee of  the Uni-Y. with importance to 'Efficient Waste Disposal and Management' was held at the Vimala College, Thrissur on April 8th, 2010.  The Seminar was taken by Prof. Gokuldas. The President of YMCA Thrissur, Mr. Pius Alapatt, Uni-Y President Mr. Jojo C. Jacob, Uni-Y Secretary Tinu Thomas Antony, Uni-Y Vice-President Ms. Deepa Kochappan, Convenor for Uni-Y Social Action Ms. Veena Raphael and others were present.

Uni-ys in Red Ribbon Express

Members of Uni-Y Thrissur took a guided tour of the Red Ribbon Express, a train that traverses the length and breadth of the country spreading awareness on HIV/AIDS. It even has an HIV Testing facility on one of the coaches.

Uni-Y Induction Ceremony 2010 & Installation of new Office Bearers

The induction of new members and the installation of new office bearers of the Uni-Y was held on February 27, 2010 at the YMCA Hall. The Chief Guest was Mr.E. Salahudeen (Special Correspondent, Mathrubhumi Thrissur). The Chairman of Uni-Y Thrissur Sub-Region, Mr. Preejo Pauly was also present.
